    Dear Hans-Joachim,
Many thanks for your enquiry. Professor Hintze has recommended that the standard scholarly edition in German is Humbach’s The Gathas of Zarathushtra.
Recently, Berhard Forssman published Karl Hoffmann’s translation Gathic passages (I have emailed you a pdf version of this). The work includes a short article by Professor Hintze.
I hope this is helpful, but do get in touch if you need more information.
    Our library email is library@indiran.org.
    Best wishes,
    Jo Salisbury
