We were delighted that so many people attended the memorial event for our founding trustee Bridget Allchin at Wolfson College, Cambridge, on Saturday 17 March. The occasion, attended by Dr Allchin’s family, friends, colleagues and students, and fellow trustees, was hosted by the Trust, in cooperation with Wolfson College. A two day symposium, ‘The History of Lahore and the Preservation of its Historic Buildings’, was held in Cambridge on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th October; organised by the Ancient India & Iran Trust, in association with the Centre of South Asian Studies, with sessions hosted at the Lee Seng Tee Hall, Wolfson College and the Riley Auditorium, Clare College Memorial Court.
